We are a company dedicated to the production of balanced pet food. Our main aim is to satisfy our demanding customers and contribute to improving their pet’s life with our high-quality products.
We believe that spending time with our cats and dogs is a powerful and unique experience, therefore, day by day, we investigate and develop advanced formulas that enhance their health.
Currently, we have two modern industrial facilities and 160 employees for the development of pet food. One of them is located in Alcira Gigena, Córdoba, where we manufacture dry food, and the other one, called WMG, is in Córdoba City, where we produce wet pet food. From these two plants, we seek not only to generate the most innovative products on the market but also to create a positive real social, economic, and environmental impact.
Nowadays, we focus on manufacturing products with the best raw materials, which follow international market trends. Currently our products are sold in several countries around Latin America and we are developing business in Asia, Europe and America.
Maintaining quality in each step of the process
The manufacturing of our products meets high nutritional, physiochemical, and biological standards, so each product is healthy and nutritious for pets. Moreover, Alican is a deeply committed company to complying with all legal requirements regarding premises, raw materials, and products.
To ensure that our products are suitable and safe for pets, we rely on:
- The implementation and certification of the Good Manufacturing Practices system, an instrument used in the manufacturing of food consumed by animals.
- The implementation of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system.
Both instruments are safe food manufacturing keys.
- ISO 9001:2015 quality system: an instrument used globally to produce constant quality products, to seek production efficiency, and to fulfill the clients’ needs.
